What a Year!
We can look back on a year that we probably wouldn’t have imagined ourselves. Even if things didn’t always go according to plan, e.g. due to rainy weather, we once again experienced many highlights together with our customers and partners this year and successfully implemented exciting customer projects. A big thank you goes to our team, who mastered every challenge with great commitment and dedication.
Our Team Explored Ulm: Action, Culture and Fun
We headed to Ulm for our company excursion this year! This awesome city is located at the “Danaube River” and famous for the “Ulm Minster”, which has the tallest church spire in the world. We were ready for a weekend packed with action, culture, and amazing food.
SOTEC Team Shines at 31st Stuttgart Lauf, Demonstrating Solidarity and Teamwork
On July 21st, 2024, a team of seven runners from SOTEC proudly participated in the 31st Stuttgart Lauf, the annual race that winds through the heart of Stuttgart. The 10km event, known for its challenging course and energetic atmosphere, was an opportunity for our team to showcase not only their athletic prowess but also the core values that define SOTEC: solidarity and teamwork.
The Power of AI and Natural Language at Hannover Messe 2024
Hannover Messe 2024 was a resounding success! As a Google Partner, SOTEC was honored to showcase our cutting-edge technology at the Google Booth. We were excited to demonstrate how easy and intuitive it can be to control complex robotic systems using the power of natural language and Google’s Gemini language model.

In collaboration with Robomotion and Intrinsic, Sotec has configured and successfully deployed a machine tending application, which uses a KUKA KR6 robot in a space constrained cell, in an industrial set-up at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences.
